Leon Ulicnik

Founder & Developer

Musician, producer and software engineer from Schleswig, Germany. After years of releasing music independently and seeing great tracks get buried in the algorithm, I built Songbrain — the tool I wish I had when I started.

The idea is simple: if AI can analyze what makes a song shareable, every independent artist can compete with major labels — no budget, no connections, just great music.

The mission

The music industry is broken for independent artists. Getting on playlists costs money. Understanding what makes a song go viral is guesswork. The tools that exist are either too expensive or too basic.

Songbrain changes that. We built a platform that gives every artist access to the same AI-powered analysis that major labels use internally — for free. Upload your song, get your Virality Score, find your Best Moments, and if your music is good enough, get featured on real Spotify playlists.

But analysis on its own isn't enough. So we built two layers nobody else has: a live trend database that scrapes the viral clips per subgenre every Sunday and indexes the exact second people clip, and Reel Reverse-Engineering — paste your own TikTok or Reel link and Songbrain cross-references the visuals, engagement and comments with your song to tell you exactly what to change next time.

The endgame: the world's best automated, curated playlist network — refreshed weekly, decided only by the music. Think Spotify Release Radar, on crack.

No gatekeepers. No pay-to-play. Just music.
