74 Reels From One Album Upload
August 4, 2026 · 9 min read
The short version
One upload. 74 finished videos. A 10-track album gets 4 album videos + 7 reels for every single track. No editing, nothing to make yourself.
You only post 7 of them on a schedule. 3 before release (cover reveal, teaser, a poll), 1 on release day, 3 in the week after. The plan tells you which video goes out on which day.
The poll video is the secret weapon. The night before release, viewers vote for their favorite moment in the comments — and all those comments make the algorithm push your release post the next morning.
The other ~67 are your reserve. Keep posting 2–3 a week after release, watch which song gets the most views, and post more of that one.
This is what comes back from one real album upload — four release videos, made and scheduled:

Why album rollouts usually die
The reason album rollouts die isn't strategy — it's production. Everyone knows they should post daily around a release. Almost nobody can produce 15+ distinct videos per week while also, you know, releasing an album. So the rollout becomes three posts and a prayer.
The math above changes that. One album upload generates 4 exclusive album videos plus a reel set of up to 7 videos for every track (the same set a single upload gets). For a 10-track album that's up to 74 individual videos— 4 + 70 — before you've opened an editor. The strategic question flips from "what can I make?" to "what do I post when?" — which is what the rest of this guide answers.
The four album videos
The four videos in the screenshot above are album-level exclusives — they only exist on an album upload, and each has a different job.
The teaser is cut from your top three tracks' best moments — the AI already knows where each song peaks, so the trailer is three hooks back to back. The poll ("Which One Goes Hardest?") shows three moments and asks viewers to vote 1/2/3 in the comments. That post is not content, it's infrastructure: comment velocity the night before release is what convinces the algorithm to distribute your out-now post the next morning.
The release plan, post by post

Announce the album — cover + tracklist. The save-the-date post; comments tell you which track titles people are already curious about.
Best moments of your top 3 tracks cut into one teaser. This is the trailer — three hooks in 25 seconds, no filler.
Comment-bait poll — 3 moments, viewers vote 1/2/3. Engineered for comments the night before release, which primes the algorithm for tomorrow.
Release day — best track + cover. The link-in-bio post. Your ★ BEST track carries it, not your personal favorite.
First single-track post after release: the hero reel from your top track's own reel set, while release-week attention is still warm.
Different song, different visual template. Anyone who skipped the album post gets a second, different door in.
Third door. By now the data tells you which sound is pulling — double down on whichever track's reels overperform.
Seven posts, eleven days, and each one checks off with a "Mark posted" button so the plan survives contact with real life. Previews are small; downloads render in HD when you actually post.
What the other ~67 videos are for
The scheduled plan spends 7 of your 74. The rest is the part most artists never have: a library. Three rules for spending it:
- Keep posting past +8. Two to three track reels a week for the following month. Albums break on week-3 re-posts more often than on release day — the audience that missed launch week is still out there.
- Follow the overperformer. If one track's reels consistently beat the rest, that's your second single telling you it exists. Spend its remaining reel set next, and keep what works.
- Never post the same template twice in a row. The set gives every track multiple visual roles — alternate them so your feed doesn't look like a scheduler ran it, even though one did.
If a reel flops anyway, diagnose before you re-post — here's the 5-layer flop diagnosis. And if you haven't uploaded the album yet, the walkthrough starts here.
